The Boggs Center and The Hope District present
INVINCIBLE’S ALBUM RELEASE COMMUNITY EVENT

On June 15, The Boggs Center celebrates the release of SHAPESHIFTERS, Detroit Summer Collective member, INVINCIBLE’s, long-awaited first solo project. At the community event, there will be a screening of the docu-music video, “Locusts,” which interviews several youth, community activists, and artists about their vision for sustainable development in the city. In addition to live performance of new songs, INVINCIBLE will also engage in a community dialogue around topics that the album raises. She will discuss how she started her label Emergence to release the album and the cooperative economics hip hop model as it relates to a larger vision for the Detroit entrepreneurial community.
