Nov 10: Complex Movements Music Box Workshop at Charles H. Wright Museum

In celebration of opening day of the Inspiring Minds: African Americans in Science and Technology exhibition, Complex Movements of Detroit, who recently won a juried prize for its multimedia performance, "Three Phases," from Grand Rapids' ArtPrize, presents a Digital Music Box Workshop.

Come and learn the concept behind the Digital Music Box, developed by Complex Movements. Complex Movements is a Detroit-based artist collective composed of graphic designer and fine artist Wesley Taylor, music producer and filmmaker Waajeed, and hip-hop lyricist and activist Invincible. The Complex Movements  team will demonstrate the concept behind the digital music box and facilitate a hands-on activities. You will be able to complete your own electronic light pin and participate in a hands-on soldering activity.

This workshop is free with museum admission, and all ages are welcome.
