"Three Phases," also at SiTE:LAB, received the award for Best Time-Based and Performance work from Cathy Edwards, director of programming at the International Festival of Arts & Ideas in New Haven, Conn. Complex Movement crafted multi-media performance of hand-crafted songs and trans-genre experiments. Complex Movements member Carlos Garcia praise SiTE:LAB for offering a fluid space and having a creative team helping them use it. "This is the first time we've had an opportunity to work with a team this talented," Garcia said. "We were moving walls, tearing down walls, hanging projectors."
