Art and Media Based Organizing Touring Model

Beware of the Dandelions (BotD) is designed to support local social justice work happening in Detroit and other cities. The depth of community involvement and collaboration in the project's host cities is made possible through a local cohort of artists, organizers, and community members who partner with Complex Movements to co-design the engagement for their community needs.

The cohort of artists/organizers/community members shapes the experience of Beware of the Dandelions by sharing the unique histories and current landscape of social conditions and how communities are working for change in creative ways. BotD engagements are designed above all to foster and deepen authentic relationships, exchange skills, and build community capacity for visioning.
